Terms and conditions

Shelf copy · 28 October 2026

These terms cover use of the Aarvix Services website and the way a later engagement is agreed. A written scope for a specific job controls if it says something different.

POLICY A team around a table, the kind of queue a monthly block covers.
Public policy · not a contract alone

02

The website

The site describes IT services: websites, custom software, AI, automation, integrations, search, and support. Project work is shown as an hourly rate. A monthly engagement is that rate times 30.

Sending a form does not start the work and does not create an invoice. We reply by email. Work starts when both sides have agreed a written scope.

03

Engagements

A fixed engagement is a named piece of work, such as a site, a workflow, or a pilot. A monthly engagement is care or capacity for a period, and unused monthly hours do not roll forward unless the scope says they do.

The hourly rate on the site is a starting rate for that kind of work. The scope you receive by email is the one that applies.

04

Your materials

You keep ownership of the materials you send us: copy, files, brand, and data. You confirm you have the right to share them for the job.

Deliverables we make for you under a paid scope are yours once the agreed fees for that scope are paid, except for tools, libraries, and methods we already used across clients. Those stay ours, and you receive a licence to use them as part of the deliverable.

05

AI in the work

Where a job uses a model, the scope says so. A draft that could be sent to your customer is reviewed by a person before it is sent. The contact form itself is not submitted to a model.

06

Acceptable use

Do not use the forms to send unlawful material, to probe the site, or to impersonate someone else. The acceptable use page states this in more detail.

07

Liability

Starting prices on the site are not a promise that a particular result, ranking, or revenue will follow. Schedules in a scope are estimates unless the scope marks a date as fixed.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our liability for a paid engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where a limit of that kind is not allowed.

08

Changes

We can update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the date of the current version. An engagement already confirmed by email keeps the terms that were in place when it was confirmed, plus the scope itself.
